These coins were produced with spent bullets used by the Nepalese Gurkha soldiers while fighting the Japanese in the Pacific theater of World War II they were made by removing the primer from the casings the casings were then converted into the 4 Paisa coins to commemorate the Gurkha's courage and victory during the war. Due to the small number of casings found, these coins were minted for one year only. Great for coin collectors or collectors of world war 2 Militaria!
