The woodblock print, The Sambutsudo Temple in Spring which depicts the Sambutsudo Temple in Nikko. This print was produced by Eiichi Kotozuka and was one of four prints in his series, The Four Seasons of Nikko. As I understand it, this was one of Kotozuka's first prints, which he produced at the age of 22. I believe this predates his time working for the Uchida publishing company, as I do not see the Uchida watermark which is usually present on his prints. It's a very pretty print that would make an excellent addition once framed to any art collection. Print is unframed, but comes with the original folio matting.
Condition: Print is in very good condition. Matting shows moderate discoloration.
Measurements: Print measures approximately 11 inches wide x 8.25 inches high. Folio backing measures 13.75 inches wide x 10 inches high.
