This old Chinese abacus was purchased
from a merchant in the 1970s by a photographer
on assignment. So the item was old and in
use at the time, it has a lovely patina with
metal braces at corners, 98 beads on
14 post. 2 post appear to be replaced
with metal rods. We think the frame is
made of oak. All wood except the 2 metal
post and corner braces. Measures:
15 long by 6.25 high. No issues except
the patina from years of use.
