Metallic Box Purse with Inset Gold Leatherette panels. Sides and frame are gold metal. Distinctive stylized handle. Top closure is a gold leatherette button snap closure. The front panel is decorated with a porcelain button like circle surrounded by a metal circle with rhinestones. (There may have been a stone in the center white circle. )
The bottom is metal and hinged with 4 metal feet. The inside is lined with an orange sherbert damask fabric and a pocket for extra get to storage piped in gold trim. Very fancy. Very well constructed. A solid vintage handbag with unique style reminiscent of a very different era.
