Striking necklace of faceted button-shaped natural amethyst beads. They are all fairly uniform in size, alternating deep violet with rich medium violet colors. Many of the stones are quite transparent. Four button shaped sterling beads are interspersed in the amethyst in a lovely subtle way. It has a good sized extender chain with the traditional DTR puffy heart on the end. In excellent vintage condition.
♦ Dimensions: Length is 17.75 inches (45 cm) up to 20.5 inches (52 cm) with extender. Bead size averages 10 x 7 mm. Weight is 59.5 grams.
♦ Markings: DTR 925 on both bead caps and clasp. This version of the DTR logo was copyrighted in 1993 and in use until 1999.
