VTG 70’s Large Hand Thrown Ceramic Plate/Platter Signed Studio Pottery STEARNS.
Truly beautiful MCM 70’s art piece in the form of a large ceramic plate or platter. Hand painted with a minimalist nature scene of two volcanoes, a drooping tree on a cliff, and a blazing sun.
I used this once to serve a large flan I had made, but otherwise, as far as I can tell, this plate is unused. It is in perfect condition.
11.5” across.
Heavy stoneware. An absolute beauty for a bohemian interior. Looks great displayed and in use! Singed on back “STEARNS ‘74”
