This violet vase was made as a basket liner, and originally had a pewter or silver basket frame. It was made by Dugan Glass, which produced opalescent and carnival glass from 1905-1913. The pattern is Band , and the color of this piece is a rich, dark amethyst (one of the most desired colors). Diameter at top: 4 3/8 inches; height: 4 1/8 inches. This piece is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks, chips or repairs.
